Chocolate Can Make People Happier And 12 Percent More Productive
The truth has reveal for People that eat lot of chocolate make them more productive dan happy. This give us an answer why lot of people prefer to have a bite of chocolate when they feel sad.
Quartz reports that happiness increases productivity by 10-12 percent. And what makes people happy? Chocolate. Lots and lots of chocolate.
That’s really all the information I need to contact HR and demand all the free chocolate in the world.
The report, which is set to be published in the Journal of Labor Economics, shows that participants were able to perform more accurately on tests given to them after eating chocolate or watching a comedian perform.
The study involved 700 people watching comedian Bill Bailey perform standup or eating snacks like chocolate and fruit, then taking a 10-minute test designed to measure productivity under pressure.
Why was I not invited to participate in this?
Chocolate was found to affect our moods the same way listening to a comedian does: Instead of falling off our seats laughing for the rest of the day or getting distracted by the yummy goodness of chocolate, we actually work harder and more productively.
The study also found that when people took tests while feeling unhappy, they scored below normal levels.
Essentially, the happier we are, the better we are able to perform in our work life. Makes sense, doesn’t it?
